Stripe is hiring an Android BSP Engineer to develop kernel and driver-level systems for embedded payments platforms. The role involves bringing up devices, debugging and tuning hardware, firmware, and software, designing and maintaining drivers and Android services, managing defects, reviewing code, coordinating with global teams, and supporting automated testing and telemetry. Candidates need at least two years of experience in device driver development, embedded systems, or operating systems, along with mobile-device experience, C/C++ or Kotlin/Java proficiency, Android experience, and fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
