Description
Google is hiring an Android Infrastructure Software Developer for its Core team to design, build, and maintain Android developer infrastructure, including build tooling, frameworks, and libraries used across first-party mobile applications. The role partners with product teams, leads design reviews, reviews code, contributes documentation, and resolves product and system issues. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of software development experience, three years of Android application development experience, three years of software product testing, maintenance, or launch experience, one year of large-scale application design and architecture experience, and development experience with Kotlin or Java. Preferred qualifications include experience with Dagger or Hilt, Bazel, Gradle, KSP, annotation processing, developer tools, and AI-assisted developer tooling. The Canada compensation range is CAD 182,000–186,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
