Google is hiring an Android Software Developer to design, build, and iterate Android-stack software projects, write product or system development code, maintain documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and debug distributed systems. The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, two years of full-stack development using Java or Kotlin, two years of Android application development, and experience with computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree or PhD, extensive data structures and algorithms experience, technical leadership experience, cross-functional project experience, AI development tool experience, and strong prototyping and delivery skills. The listed compensation is CAD 150,000–153,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
