Google is hiring an Android Software Engineer to design, implement, and launch features for the Android Overview experience, including drag and drop, pagination, and multi-display support. The role also involves improving performance and memory usage, contributing to Launcher’s architectural modernization with MVVM and Jetpack Compose, debugging complex issues, and collaborating with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other Android engineers on multitasking solutions. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, five years of software development experience, three years of Android application development experience, Kotlin experience, and three years of software product experience, with a Poland compensation range of PLN 364,000–373,000 plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
