Description
The Android Platform Software Engineer will develop and maintain Android platform-level software, including the Android Framework, system services, native C++ components, OS upgrades, API changes, and platform migrations. The role also involves integration, testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and collaboration with other development teams. It is a consulting assignment through Nexer Tech Talent based in Gothenburg, with a plan to transition to direct employment with the client if the collaboration succeeds. Candidates need at least one year of Android or AOSP development experience, a relevant Master of Science in Engineering degree, C++ and Android Framework/HAL expertise, experience with OS upgrades or platform migrations, Python, Jenkins, and CI/CD, and strong Swedish and English skills.
