Description
Garmin is hiring an Android Engineer to develop Android applications for the Garmin Explore Outdoor App using the Android SDK and Kotlin. The role involves creating software components, mentoring less experienced engineers, participating in code reviews, estimating effort, evaluating technologies, and performing technical root-cause analysis. The position requires at least three years of Android development experience, knowledge of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android Studio, OOP, data structures and algorithms, Agile methodologies, a BSc in Computer Science, IT or a similar field, and proficiency in English. The role is primarily office-based with flexibility to work from home up to four days per month or one day per week.
