Description
The Anesthesia Tech II supports the anesthesia patient care team by preparing and maintaining patient monitoring devices, anesthesia delivery systems, equipment, and supplies before, during, and after anesthesia. The role assists licensed anesthesia providers in routine and complex surgical cases, follows direct supervision, and requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology, infection control, pharmacology, and medical electronics. A high school diploma or GED is minimum, an associate or college diploma in health science or a related field is preferred, and at least two years of healthcare experience is required.
