Description
The Anesthesia Technician maintains and services anesthesia equipment, manages anesthesia supply inventory, prepares supplies for cases, cleans and disinfects reusable equipment, and supports anesthesia providers and surgical teams during regional blocks, monitoring lines, and general anesthesia induction. The role also requires patient communication, infection-control practices, sterile technique, and collaboration with anesthesia, surgical, materials management, and sterile-processing teams. A high school diploma is minimum; healthcare training, anesthesia-technician certification, and one year of anesthesia-technician experience are preferred, while three years of healthcare background may be accepted.
