PETA is seeking an Animal Care Officer to provide animal and family services in the Hampton Roads, Virginia and North Carolina areas. This role involves community outreach, client communication, direct animal care, investigations of neglect or abuse, and emergency services. The officer will also be responsible for maintaining records and potentially filing complaints with animal control agencies. The position requires a commitment to PETA's objectives and the ability to handle animals, manage crises, and work independently.
