Description
The Animal Care Specialist provides daily care and welfare for animals at ACC Care Centers, including feeding, water, bedding, enrichment, kennel sanitation, exercise, socialization, observation, restraint, intake processing, and communication with medical, behavior, adoption, and partner departments. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, six months of animal care or custodial experience or equivalent related education, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for eight hours or more, and Fear Free Shelter certification within 30 days of hire.
