Description
Altasciences is hiring an Animal Care Technician to coordinate, move, and maintain facility equipment and supplies; support cage-wash and in-life sanitation; perform environmental and facility tasks; and provide basic husbandry and welfare care for laboratory animals including mice, rats, dogs, and non-human primates. The role requires compliance with SOPs, GLP, ALCOA+, USDA, AAALAC, and other regulations; animal handling and observation; equipment operation; documentation; inventory; cross-functional support; and weekend/evening rotations. A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience are required, with prior animal experience preferred. The position pays $19.80–$26.00 hourly and does not offer visa sponsorship.
