Description
The Animal Control Officer enforces animal control laws and ordinances, responds to complaints, patrols jurisdiction, investigates animal cruelty and nuisance cases, issues citations, operates traps and other equipment, impounds and transports animals, and handles court testimony and records. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, animal-care or veterinary-training experience, public-contact experience, a valid Nevada driver's license, and the ability to handle animals, operate vehicles, and perform physically demanding work.
