Seasonal, non-exempt Intern - Animal Keeper position with the City of Manhattan Parks & Recreation in Manhattan, Kansas. The intern assists animal keepers with daily husbandry and care for a wide variety of animals, including feeding, cleaning exhibits, maintaining public and service areas, performing ground maintenance, using basic tools and vehicles, keeping records, and interacting professionally with the public. The role is open until filled, pays $12.00/hour plus possible college course credit, requires the candidate to be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.
