Altasciences is hiring an Animal Research Technician to perform technical procedures on laboratory animals, including restraint, anesthesia, dosing, blood draws, specimen and data collection, husbandry, and euthanasia, while following protocols, SOPs, and GLP standards. The role also involves operating laboratory equipment, recording and reviewing data, monitoring animal health and facility conditions, supporting study supervisors and directors, and contributing to SOP updates. A high school diploma is required, while a scientific bachelor's degree, research-animal experience, and ALAT certification are preferred.
