Description
The University of Wyoming's Animal Science Department is hiring a student assistant to support pre-operation, carcass fabrication, and meat processing in its state-inspected meat laboratory and Cowboy Branded Meats program. The on-campus role involves slaughter and processing activities, cleaning and sanitation, safe use of tools and equipment, and support for teaching, research, and extension work. Applicants must be currently enrolled at the University of Wyoming and eligible for and awarded work-study funding; meat-processing experience is preferred. The position pays $12 per hour and is located in Laramie, Wyoming.
