Description
The Animal Welfare and Biosecurity Superintendent leads animal welfare, biosecurity, compliance, training, auditing, corrective-action oversight, and continuous-improvement initiatives across processing facilities, live operations, and contract grower operations. The role monitors humane handling, investigates incidents, supports audits, maintains records, analyzes performance trends, delivers training, and coordinates with plant, production, hatchery, operations, and maintenance teams. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, along with 2–5 years of relevant experience; PAACO certification or the ability to obtain it is required. The position offers a base salary of $69,135.00–$83,998.80, medical, dental, and vision coverage after 60 days, paid time off, and a 401(k) match.
