Description
The Youth Care Specialist provides therapeutic, nurturing, structured, and positive programming for emotionally, psychiatrically, and/or behaviorally challenged youth in the CSEC population. The role works as part of an interdisciplinary team, attends team meetings and annual trainings, participates in supervision, and serves as a role model. It is on call and may require morning, evening, and overnight shifts. A high school diploma or GED is required; experience with high school-aged youth, some college, paid youth experience, and bilingual Spanish are preferred. A valid New York State driver’s license must be held and maintained.
