First Steps Recovery is hiring an AODC Counselor to provide individual and group counseling, intake assessments, treatment planning, clinical documentation, discharge and continuing-care planning, crisis intervention, and coordination with the multidisciplinary treatment team for residents in inpatient and outpatient settings. The role requires addiction and mental health or equivalent human services experience, a drug and alcohol counseling credential or internship, CPR/First Aid, and proficiency with KIPU systems; benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid leave, an employee assistance program, legal consultations, life insurance, and a 401K.
