Description
StepStone is hiring an APAC and LATAM Payroll Specialist to process and reconcile international payrolls across multiple countries in the APAC and LATAM regions while sitting in the United States. The role coordinates with local HR teams, finance, employees, and third-party payroll providers; validates payroll data; ensures compliance with local tax, social security, pension, and other statutory requirements; maintains employee records; supports audits and reporting; and prepares payroll journal entries and month-end reconciliations. The position requires at least two years of multi-country payroll experience, knowledge of payroll legislation in key countries, third-party payroll provider experience, Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple time zones. It is a hybrid role.
