Description
Ascendis Pharma is hiring an Associate Director to lead medical affairs across the APAC region, primarily supporting partners in China, Japan, Australia, South Korea, and Southeast Asia. The role will develop and implement medical strategies, support clinical and real-world evidence, manage compassionate use and grants, build relationships with key opinion leaders and centres, lead medical education, and provide functional leadership to medical teams. It is based in a large APAC hub, preferably Hong Kong, Singapore, or Malaysia, and is expected to be remote with approximately 25% travel and flexible hours to accommodate global time zones. Candidates need an advanced life sciences degree, at least seven years of medical affairs experience, rare-disease expertise, English and Mandarin proficiency, and strong leadership and communication skills.
