SafelyYou is hiring a fully remote, senior-level API Architect to design, build, and operate scalable backend services and platform infrastructure, with primary ownership of the External Data API. The role involves Python and AWS development, API gateway and management systems, streaming data pipelines, data governance, CI/CD, documentation, AI-assisted workflows, and mentoring engineers. Candidates need 7+ years of software, backend, or platform engineering experience, strong API and distributed-systems expertise, and experience with cloud infrastructure, streaming technologies, and developer workflows. The position offers a $190,000–$210,000 USD base salary, $180,000–$200,000 USD base salary in Canada, plus bonus, stock options, and benefits.
