Gigs is hiring a Senior Engineer to own complex problems end-to-end, design and build scalable products and APIs, contribute to Ruby on Rails and distributed-system work, maintain observability and incident response, and use AI as part of the engineering workflow. The role requires experience designing APIs and backend services, product ownership, learning new technologies, and understanding business impact. It is based in Gigs hubs in the United States or Europe, with regular in-person collaboration and occasional travel, and offers EU or UK compensation of €90,000–125,000 or £90,000–125,000 respectively.
