The role involves designing and installing batch and online COBOL programs, integrating systems and infrastructure, supporting production and application development, managing projects from design through implementation, documenting applications, and mentoring colleagues. Required qualifications include mainframe COBOL application development, systems analysis, COBOL tools such as JCL, TSO, ISPF, VSAM, CICS, and MQ, IBM or CA development tools, application and production support, project implementation, and B2B communication protocols.
