Apple Service Engineering's Compute team is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead Infrastructure and Site Reliability Engineers responsible for operating and scaling large-scale batch compute infrastructure across Apple's data centers. The role manages compute controllers, proxy services, job execution agents, and supporting infrastructure across multiple geographies, while leading on-call operations, release engineering, observability, incident management, infrastructure modernization, and AI-powered operational improvements. The manager will also recruit, develop, and retain engineering talent and balance operational excellence with engineering innovation.
