Eaton is hiring an Application & Automation Technician-1st Shift for its Pinckneyville, Illinois facility. The role troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and improves manufacturing equipment and automated production systems, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, drives, sensors, safety circuits, and industrial control networks. Responsibilities also include preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment installations, reliability and continuous-improvement initiatives, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and five years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with an hourly rate of $30.58 to $35.09 based on experience.
