Description
PADT is hiring a Photonics Engineer to provide technical expertise in Ansys photonics and optical simulation tools for customers and the Ansys sales team. The role involves scoping and supporting optics and photonics solutions, developing simulations and models for devices such as lasers, waveguides, photonic integrated circuits, CMOS sensors, and resonators, delivering training and technical presentations, creating application materials, and performing benchmarking and proof-of-concept studies. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least one year of experience with photonics simulation tools, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and availability for approximately 25–30% travel.
