Description
The employer is hiring a remote Application Architect III for a six-month contract to lead architecture and technical design for Customer Billing Systems (CSS) projects. The role provides hands-on guidance through the software development lifecycle, leads internal and vendor technical resources, manages application risks and integrations, and serves as the technical liaison between development teams, vendors, and project management. The position requires 8–10 years of CSS experience, utility or regulated-environment experience, formal SDLC experience, and expertise with mainframe technologies including COBOL, DB2, UNIX, GoAnywhere, MuleSoft, and C.
