Description
The Application Design Engineer serves as a technical liaison between customers, sales, quality, and manufacturing. The role translates customer application requirements into buildable prototype designs, develops and tests prototypes, validates designs for manufacturability, maintains documentation and BOMs, supports failure analysis and project management, and presents technical recommendations to customers. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or a related discipline, at least five years of similar experience, SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling proficiency, CNC and ANSYS knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 20%.
