J5 Consulting is seeking an Application Developer to assist with the maintenance of existing legacy applications and support the transition to a new system architecture. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of full-stack development experience, with proficiency in Node.js, backend development, API creation, and cloud-based deployments (AWS, Azure, VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes). The successful candidate will work in an Agile environment, document technical system architecture, and be familiar with GitHub, Jenkins, and JIRA. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required. The position is full-time, on-site in the Reston area of Virginia, and requires US Citizenship and an active Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
