Höganäs AB is hiring an Application Development Engineer for its Metal Consumables and Elements (MCE) Division, Mechanical segment. The role develops customer application knowledge, translates requirements into product and development opportunities, supports new-product introductions and product optimization, provides technical support, creates training materials and documentation, and collaborates with customers, partners, and internal teams. The engineer will report to VP Operations & Technology, work across MCE functions, and travel globally to meet customers and colleagues. The position requires at least five years of similar experience in an industrial goods company, an engineering or science background with materials knowledge, and experience with cross-functional collaboration, data-driven problem solving, project management, and customer engagement; friction-industry experience is preferred.
