Description
Citi is hiring a full-time Lead Java Engineer to lead the XiP Compute Service (XCS) team, which orchestrates and executes 1.5 billion risk calculations daily. The role owns the design, development, and evolution of the high-performance calculation engine, including parallelization, distribution, scalability, and reliability improvements. Responsibilities include defining technical strategy, leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies, managing the development backlog, providing hands-on technical leadership, mentoring developers, and coordinating with DevOps and customers. The position requires at least 10 years of Java software development experience, large-scale distributed systems expertise, cloud and containerization knowledge, and experience with REST APIs, testing, and CI/CD practices.
