Description
The Application Engineer (Backend) will develop, test, deploy, and sustain Python-based REST endpoints, microservices, and data-model capabilities using Django and Flask, with MariaDB or MongoDB, and provide middleware and backend support for enterprise security applications. The role also monitors and troubleshoots security tool suites, administers databases, analyzes vulnerabilities, develops access controls and configuration plans, coordinates testing and deployment, and delivers training. It requires a TS/SCI clearance, a relevant technical education or experience combination, and experience with Python, Docker, Django or Flask, MongoDB or MariaDB, REST APIs, and microservices. The position offers $87.70–$118.77 per hour and may be located in Maryland, Virginia, Colorado, Texas, Utah, Alaska, Hawaii, or an OCONUS location.
