Baker Hughes is seeking a Customer Application Engineer to join their growing team. This role involves providing technical expertise and application support during the tendering and bidding process for innovative energy products. The engineer will collaborate with customers to understand technical specifications, prepare technical documentation, and work with various internal teams to ensure proposal feasibility. They will also conduct product presentations and monitor risk management.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of experience in application engineering, project engineering, or customer-facing technical roles, with exposure to tendering and bid processes in subsea wellhead or subsea production system.
Preferred Qualifications: Good knowledge of engineering processes, quality standards, and industry regulations (e.g., API 6A, 17D, 5CT, 5L, NACE MR0175).
Skilled in interpreting engineering bill of materials, drawings, and technical specifications.
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) for client engagement and cross-functional teamwork.
Proficiency in providing cost estimates and articulating value propositions.
Logical, structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making under time-sensitive bid conditions.
Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and winning tenders.
