The expertum Group is hiring an Application Engineer (m/f/d) for a client in the mechanical engineering sector in Crailsheim. The role involves independently parameterizing and applying control units, analyzing software and functional architectures, performing vehicle and HIL/SIL measurements and error diagnosis, managing parameter sets and variant data, conducting functional and release tests, analyzing CAN communication and A2L/HEX files, coordinating with customers and international teams, supporting commissioning and vehicle testing, and preparing technical documentation. The position is temporary through employee leasing for 9 months, with an extension possible, and is performed 100% on-site. Candidates need an engineering degree or comparable qualification, automotive control-unit experience, calibration-tool expertise, CAN knowledge, and strong German and English skills. The employment contract is permanent and unlimited, with additional benefits including pension, equipment, medical check-ups, and training support.
