Description
Filamatic is hiring a full-time Applications Engineer to translate customer requirements into competitive packaging and automation solutions, develop system designs and detailed costings, integrate OEM and third-party equipment, and serve as a technical advisor during pre-sales. The role also supports product testing, proof-of-concept validation, and relationships with automation partners. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or packaging engineering, 5–7+ years of packaging machinery experience, and knowledge of liquid packaging systems, mechanical and electrical integration, PLC controls, CAD, and engineering drawings. The position offers a salary of $90,000–$120,000 per year plus vacation, paid holidays, retirement contributions, parental leave, and medical, dental, and vision coverage.
