The client is hiring an Application Engineer to support and develop a PLM environment for a German armored-vehicle and defense-technology manufacturer. Responsibilities include user and application support, error analysis, PLM customization and development, automated reporting, database-supported data preparation, interface configuration, programming, and Unix server and application monitoring. The role requires a computer science degree or comparable qualification, PLM administration experience, strong database and operating-system knowledge, and programming skills in Python, Java, Visual Basic, and PL/SQL.
