SEG Electronics is hiring a full-time Application Engineer (m/w/d) for its Protection Technology team in Kempen, Germany. The role develops and validates application functions for multifunctional protection devices from technical conception through implementation, working with development teams, product management, sales support, and external partners. Responsibilities include designing functions from customer requirements and standards, performing calculations, simulations, and laboratory tests, preparing test plans and technical documentation, supporting certification, and troubleshooting customer-side faults. The position requires an electrical engineering degree or comparable qualification, several years of application development experience, protection-technology knowledge, simulation and laboratory experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and German and English proficiency.
