Google Operations Center is hiring an Application Engineer Senior Specialist to design, build, scale, and maintain complex full-stack applications. The role leads feature delivery and Agile teams, owns the software development lifecycle, establishes SLOs and SLAs, implements CI/CD automation, resolves production issues, and maintains technical documentation. Candidates need 5–7 years of professional experience, a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent practical experience, and strong Java, Spring, REST/SOAP, Python, web, database, testing, and application-profiling expertise.
