The Application Programmer III is a contract developer for critical financial-sector applications, based in Jersey City, New Jersey or Plano, Texas, with a hybrid work schedule. The role involves developing and maintaining scalable, reliable, and compliant applications; managing monthly release cycles; collaborating with stakeholders; analyzing datasets for risk and monitoring; and participating in code reviews and architectural discussions. Candidates need five years of object-oriented programming experience, three years of front-office banking or financial-services application experience, three years of full-stack development experience, database expertise, and knowledge of software development lifecycle and CI/CD practices.
