Description
Apple is hiring an Application Reliability Engineer to own the operational health of a mission-critical, high-scale payments platform. The role focuses on diagnosing and permanently fixing production issues, reproducing failures, modifying production code, implementing detection and prevention mechanisms, and automating reliability improvements. The engineer will work with Application Engineering, Production Support, Infrastructure, DBA, Finance, Business Operations, and other engineering teams, using logs, metrics, traces, SQL, concurrency, Linux, and performance-profiling techniques to resolve incidents and prevent recurrence.
