MyFitnessPal is hiring a Security Engineer II focused on application security to own the day-to-day operation of its application security vulnerability management program. The role triages SAST, SCA, DAST, and mobile security findings, drives remediation, operates and grows the bug bounty program, builds Python and SOAR automation, performs security reviews, and partners with product engineering teams. It requires 2–4 years of relevant security or software engineering experience, knowledge of application security assessment and secure development practices, familiarity with cloud microservices and containerization, and experience with AI or agentic tooling.
