Description
Pylon is hiring an Application Security Engineer to own application and product security across current and future software, including threat modeling, secure design and code reviews, authentication and access control, supply chain and vulnerability management, secure-by-default libraries, developer guardrails, vulnerability triage and remediation, bug bounty and disclosure programs, AI-assisted security workflows, incident response, and broader infrastructure work. The role requires 3+ years of production software development with security at its center, strong application security fundamentals, hands-on engineering experience, startup experience, and willingness to work in person in San Francisco or relocate. The base salary is $180,000–$280,000 annually, with stock options and a comprehensive benefits package.
