Description
The Application Security Engineer will strengthen Schibsted Media’s applications and products against threats and vulnerabilities by working with developers, architects, and system engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include remediating security issues, developing security training, integrating security practices, maintaining security documentation and policies, monitoring emerging threats, managing security tools, and contributing to a cybersecurity culture. The role requires a background in software development, web application and infrastructure pentesting, knowledge of OWASP vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques, experience with Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, and Metasploit, and proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
