Description
Virtru is hiring an Application Security Engineer to join its product security team and help secure applications built on an open-source core. The role covers security engineering, vulnerability management, threat modeling, code audits, threat hunting, and integration of SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA tools throughout the software development lifecycle. The position requires at least four years of experience in secure development or application security, knowledge of authentication and web architecture, and familiarity with Go, Node.js, and security assessment tools. Compensation is $180,000–$200,000 per year, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
