Amazon is hiring an Application Security Manager to lead and develop Security Engineers and Technical Program Managers responsible for application security across Amazon services. The role sets strategic direction, priorities, and security review processes; drives adoption of security automation and tooling; manages complex stakeholder engagements; and supports the team’s culture and career development. Candidates need at least five years of team-management experience, five years of progressive software-security experience, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and knowledge of web services, cryptography, network security, operating systems, and threat modeling. The position is based virtually in Texas and offers an annual base salary of $175,100 to $236,900 USD, plus sign-on payments, restricted stock units, and comprehensive benefits.
