Sift is hiring an Application Software Engineer to partner with aerospace, autonomous systems, and other engineering customers, adapt Sift’s telemetry platform, build custom integrations using Sift APIs, translate customer requirements into product feedback, and support technical onboarding. The role requires 2+ years of software or data engineering experience, Python and REST API proficiency, a bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, and a hybrid work arrangement with travel of 10–15%. The position is based in the Los Angeles area or San Francisco, pays $125,000–$175,000 annually plus equity and benefits, and requires U.S. citizenship or a Green Card due to ITAR and EAR compliance.
