Wayve is hiring an Application Software Engineer to localize and advance its autonomous-driving software for the Japanese market. The role focuses on bringing up and validating AI software on customer hardware, configuring Linux, QNX, and AUTOSAR environments, integrating drivers and middleware, supporting CI/CD and HIL test infrastructure, resolving OEM and Tier 1 hardware integration issues, and developing automation for flashing, diagnostics, and health checks. The position is full-time and hybrid in Japan, requiring 8+ years of embedded or automotive software development experience and strong C/C++, Bash, Python, and embedded-systems expertise.
