Wayve is hiring an Application SW Engineer to join its Japan-based Application Software team and localize and advance autonomous driving technology for the Japanese market. The role focuses on bringing up and validating AI software on customer hardware, configuring Linux, QNX, and AUTOSAR environments, integrating drivers and middleware, supporting CI/CD and HIL test infrastructure, resolving OEM and Tier 1 hardware integration issues, and developing automation for setup, flashing, health checks, and testing. The position requires 8+ years of embedded or automotive software development experience and is a full-time hybrid role based in Wayve’s office in Japan.
