Description

The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for providing business analysis and second-level functional and technical support to business users in Singapore and Shanghai. This role focuses on supporting business-critical applications, including trading systems for oil and energy commodities. The analyst will act as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, Business Analysts, and Database Administrators to deliver effective and seamless application support services.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 4+ years of experience in an application support/business analysis role.
2-4 years of experience in a Commodity Trading environment.
Experience in functional support for CTRM/ETRM software and a thorough understanding of the physical trade lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Japanese Power trading business.
Strong skills in ICT technologies, with particular emphasis on MS-Office, especially Excel.
Knowledge of market data/news feeds and commodity exchanges like Bloomberg, Trayport, and ICE.
Technical knowledge encompassing application and database design/development techniques.
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.
Demonstrated strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, along with a service-oriented approach focused on meeting customer needs and achieving high satisfaction ratings.
Self-motivated, creative, highly organized, and proactive individual.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in fluent English, both spoken and written.
