Description
Kyndryl is hiring a Mainframe Modernization Software Engineer to design, build, maintain, debug, and test high-volume business logic on mainframe systems. The role refactors legacy code to enable cloud and mobile applications to interact with mainframe data, optimizes mainframe performance, and extracts business logic for migration or integration with cloud-based services. Required skills include software development, Java, Python, .Net, relational and NoSQL databases, REST-based web services, microservices, containers, messaging queues, and object-oriented design. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, hyperscaler certification, and DevOps experience are preferred.
